Hey World,

This is just a quick synopsis of my life. My name is Sarah Marcoccia and I live in a little town in upstate NY near Ithaca. I am creating this blog to give myself “Peace of Mind.” I have been writing for 20 years- started when I was 7. Published…nothing. It’s not about that for me though, it’s more about just getting my thoughts and words out of me and into you.
I was raised in a typical, middle class neighborhood, but as a senior in high school was shipped out to the country when my parents bought the land they always dreamed of and built a house. I like it in the country much better. I’m one of those girls who owns Carhartt overalls and Muck boots
and loves them. But also one of those girls who makes her own skirts and shirts, but…also one of those girls who really likes funky styles…and also one of those girls that…well you get the point. I’ve got a lot on my ever changing mind and can’t wait to begin this journey of sharing with you.
I have a Bachelor’s Degree from Paul Smith’s College in Nature and Culture…yeah, not sure what I will do with that but I AM sure that I do not regret it. Sustainable development is beyond important these days, and coexisting in balanced ecosystems with wildlife…huge. But, since I graduated college in 2005, I have done nothing but travel, which is my passion. (Well, one of my passions.) I’ve been to 8 countries in Europe, Belize, Utah, Wyoming, Asheville, NC, Vermont, Florida, Alaska, and can’t wait until my next trip. But this time, instead of just traveling for the sake of travel and making myself completely broke, I’m going to go for a good cause and it will not be for two or more years. In the fall of 2010, I will begin school again to get my nursing degree. Once I obtain that, I will then be able to travel the globe in efforts to relieve suffering any way I can.
Passions: Have to have a “Like’s” Section..not in any particular order

rock climbing
skiing
pottery
my dog
playing my guitar and singing
any art
any music straight from the soul
all animals
the earth
my family
OK, that’ll do for now. Yey me.
